About the Arles Beck Shoot...

The Arles Beck shoot is set in stunning scenery within the Lake District National Park.

Comprising of 1600 acres or mature hardwood & softwood trees, the topography of the shoot lends itself to some fantastic banks with the potential to show some exceptional high birds. Quite a number of spinneys, copses, bracken bank etc. make up the remainder of the shoot, also several acres of game cover, a lake & several ponds.

A typical driven day will compromise of 3/4 pheasant drives, a partridge drive and a duck drive, depending on the days shooting (10 Guns).

Full catering is provided with the day starting at 8.30am in the shoot lodge with a full English breakfast. Coffee, cake and mid morning snacks are taken in the field, returning to the lodge for lunch. At the end of the days’ shooting a three-course evening meal is provided back at the lodge where all staff and guns sit together.

Accommodation can be arranged locally at the family owned pub.
